• Up to 80 Gb of Stacking Bandwidth - The 9200L switches feature StackWise®-80 technology allowing for up to 80 Gbps of stacking bandwidth. This technology provides for faster and more efficient data transfer between switches as it enables users to manage a stack of switches as a single virtual switch. The 80G of bandwidth means users can easily transfer large amounts of data between stacked switches without experiencing frustrating lags or delays. Note: Fixed stacking is not supported. You cannot stack 9200L (fixed modules) switches with 9200 (modular uplink) switches or with other series of Catalyst switches.
• Support for Dual Redundancy - These switches offer a high level of network availability thanks to support for dual redundant fans and power supplies. Dual redundancy allows users to work with confidence knowing that if one of their power supplies or fans fail, the backup will take over and the switch will continue to work seamlessly. This is incredibly important for business-critical environments where even a few minutes of downtime can have far reaching effects.
• Up to 1440W PoE+ - This switch features up to 740W of default PoE+ and can reach up to a max of 1440W of PoE+ when a second power supply is added, allowing for ample power to support a large number of PoE-enabled devices including VoIP phones, access points, security cameras and more. The default of 740W of PoE+ can provide up to 30W of power per port for up to 24 devices simultaneously, while the max of 1440W can provide up to 30W of power per port for all 48 ports.
